In the city of Stellaris, a busy market hummed with people. Among them was a magical baby named Aset. She loved her protector and spirit-guide, Duck, more than anything.

One day, as Aset floated through the city with Duck, they noticed a strange sight. A girl, Layla, was changing shapes into different children. Aset and Duck watched with wide eyes.

Suddenly, Layla noticed them watching. With a smirk, she transformed into a toddler, just like Aset. The sight was confusing and concerning to Aset.

"Duck," Aset said, her voice nudging at the bubble of silence, "What's happening?" Duck, always the protector, reassured her. "It's okay, Aset. We'll figure this out together."

Bravely, Aset approached Layla. But with a laugh, Layla shape-shifted into a bird and flew high above their reach, leaving Aset and Duck puzzled.

As Layla’s bird shape disappeared into the clouds, Aset and Duck were left to their thoughts. They knew they needed to understand and outsmart Layla if they were to enjoy their adventures.

"Maybe she needs a friend?" Aset suggested. Duck, skeptical, replied, "Or maybe she's just tricky. We should be careful." They decided to approach Layla again, this time with caution.

Finding Layla the next day near the café, Aset and Duck approached her. But Layla, seeing them, immediately shape-shifted into a stray cat and ran swiftly away.

Aset and Duck were not deterred. They continued their attempts to get close to Layla. Each time, Layla shape-shifted into another form and eluded them, raising the stakes of their challenge.

One day, Aset had an idea. "Duck," she smiled, "I think I know what to do." The next time they saw Layla, Aset closed her eyes and focused her magic.

Aset’s magic worked wonders. Layla, unable to shape-shift, looked surprised. Then, Aset extended her hand. "We don't need tricks. We can play together." Layla hesitated and then slowly reached out.

And so, Aset, Duck, and Layla became friends. They went on many more adventures, but even when trouble arose, they faced it together, teaching the valuable lesson that friendship is stronger than tricks.
