Priya sits at a small wooden desk in her bedroom, smiling brightly, surrounded by colorful puzzle books and shape puzzles spread across the desk. In the background, a sunny window shows the neighborhood park outside with green trees and blue sky.

Priya loved puzzles. She loved puzzles with numbers. She loved puzzles with shapes. She loved puzzles of every kind! But Priya always did her puzzles inside, sitting at her desk.

Priya stands at the entrance of the bright, sunny neighborhood park, arms stretched wide with excitement, looking out at the colorful playground equipment and the grassy field full of wildflowers. In the background, tall shady trees line the edges of the park and a winding stone path leads deeper into the park.

One sunny morning, Priya went to the park. The sun was warm. The sky was blue. Wildflowers dotted the grassy field, and tall shady trees stood all around. "What a perfect day to play outside!" said Priya.

Priya walks carefully along the winding stone path, looking down at her feet with a big grin, one foot landing on a flat stone as she counts her steps. In the background, the grassy field with wildflowers stretches out beside the path and colorful playground equipment is visible.

Priya found the winding stone path. She started to walk. "One, two, three, four, five," she counted. Each step landed on a stone. "Six, seven, eight, nine, ten!" Ten steps! Priya grinned. "I can count my steps!" she said.

Priya jumps with both feet on brightly painted hopscotch squares on the pavement, her arms out for balance, her face lit up with surprise and joy. In the background, the colorful playground equipment and a park bench sit beneath a tall shady tree.

Next, Priya found the hopscotch squares painted on the ground. She jumped on the first square. Then the second. Then the third! "One plus two is three!" she said. She jumped again. "Three plus one is four!" Math was everywhere!

Priya hops on one foot across the grassy open field dotted with wildflowers, leaning forward with determination, heading toward the big oak tree in the distance. In the background, the big oak tree stands tall with wide shady branches against the bright blue sky.

Priya looked across the field. She saw the big oak tree. It was tall and strong, with wide, shady branches. "I wonder how many hops it takes to get there," she said. So she started to hop. One hop. Two hops. Three hops. She hopped and hopped and hopped!

Priya leans against the thick trunk of the big oak tree, laughing and holding up her fingers, her cheeks rosy from hopping across the field. In the background, the grassy field with wildflowers and the distant colorful playground equipment are visible.

"Twenty-two hops!" Priya cheered when she reached the big oak tree. She leaned against it and laughed. "Math is not just inside. Math is outside too! It is in my steps. It is in my jumps. It is in my hops!"

Priya stands confidently near the big oak tree, facing her friend who has just run up to her with an excited expression and is pointing toward the playground. In the background, the colorful playground equipment stretches across the park with the winding stone path nearby.

Just then, a friend ran over. "Hi, Priya!" she said. "I have a challenge for you. Can you go all the way across the playground — stepping, jumping, AND hopping — without losing count?" Priya stood up tall. "I can do it!" she said.

Priya stands frozen mid-hop on the grassy field, her face scrunched up in confusion, one foot in the air, fingers spread as she tries to remember her count. In the background, the winding stone path and the brightly painted hopscotch squares are visible behind her.

Priya started across the playground. She stepped on the stones. "One, two, three." She jumped on the hopscotch squares. "Four, five, six, seven." Then she hopped across the grass. "Eight, nine... wait. Was that nine? Or ten?" Oh no! Priya lost count!

Priya sits cross-legged in the grass among wildflowers, looking down with a frustrated expression, while her friend sits beside her with a kind, encouraging smile. In the background, the colorful playground equipment and tall shady trees fill the park scene.

Priya felt frustrated. She plopped down in the grass. "It is too hard," she said. "I cannot step and jump and hop AND count all at the same time." Her friend sat down next to her. "You are brave and bright, Priya. You can figure this out."

Priya stands up in the grassy field with her eyes closed and hands mid-clap, a look of bright discovery on her face, as if she just had a wonderful idea. In the background, a small bird perches on a low branch of a tall shady tree, and sunlight filters through the leaves.

Priya took a deep breath. She closed her eyes and listened. A bird sang in the tree. Tap, tap, tap. It had a rhythm! "That is it!" said Priya. "I can clap a rhythm to help me keep count!" She clapped her hands. CLAP — one. CLAP — two. CLAP — three. It worked!

Priya leaps joyfully at the far end of the playground, both arms raised in triumph, clapping her hands above her head, while her friend jumps and cheers beside her. In the background, the full stretch of the colorful playground, the winding stone path, and the hopscotch squares are visible behind them.

Priya started again. She stepped on the stones — CLAP, CLAP, CLAP. She jumped on the squares — CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP. She hopped across the grass — CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP! "Fifteen!" she shouted. She made it all the way across without losing count! Her friend cheered. "You did it, Priya!"

Priya stands in the middle of the sunny park with her arms wide open, smiling her biggest smile, the whole beautiful park surrounding her — the winding stone path, the wildflower field, the big oak tree, and the colorful playground equipment. In the background, the bright blue sky glows with warm sunlight over the neighborhood park, with tall shady trees framing the scene.

Priya smiled the biggest smile. She looked at the stones, the squares, and the grass. Math was hidden in every step she took. It was hidden in every jump. It was hidden in every hop. "Math is everywhere," said Priya. "And all you have to do is count!"
