Little Amara looks up. Up, up, up! What does she see?
She sees a bird! Flap, flap, flap! The bird flies high.
"What is that?" asks Amara. It is another bird! Flap, flap, flap! Two birds fly together.
Now Amara sees something big and white. It is soft. It is fluffy. "What is that?" asks Amara.
It is a cloud! The cloud floats slowly. Float, float, float. So soft. So slow.
The birds fly. Flap, flap, flap! The clouds float. Float, float, float. So many things move in the sky!
Now the sky is changing. The blue is turning purple. The sun says goodbye. Goodbye, sun!
"What is that?" asks Amara. Something bright! Something round! It is the moon! Hello, moon!
"What is that?" asks Amara. Tiny lights! So many! They are stars! Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle.
The sky is dark now. The birds are sleeping. The clouds are resting. All is quiet and still.
But wait — what is THAT? A shooting star! Whoooosh! It streaks across the sky, just for Amara.
Amara waves goodnight. Goodnight, birds. Goodnight, clouds. Goodnight, moon. Goodnight, stars. The sky loves you, little one. Close your eyes. Goodnight.
