Aisha standing at a window inside a colorful house, smiling brightly and spreading her arms wide as she sings, with golden sunlight streaming through the glass onto her face. In the background, a bright sunny neighborhood with colorful houses and blooming flower beds visible through the window.

Aisha loved to make up songs about everything she saw. She sang about her breakfast. She sang about her cat. She even sang about her socks! "La la la, what a sunny day!" Aisha sang as she looked out her window. Today, she was going to the park with her grandma.

Aisha holding her grandma's hand as they step out the front door together, both smiling warmly, with colorful potted flowers on the porch steps. In the background, a bright neighborhood street lined with tall leafy trees and blooming flower beds.

"Are you ready, Aisha?" her grandma asked at the front door. "Yes!" said Aisha. She took her grandma's hand. The sun was warm. The flowers were bright. Birds sang in the tall, leafy trees. Aisha started to hum a brand-new tune.

Aisha walking along a sunny sidewalk beside her grandma, pointing at a red mailbox with delight, her mouth open mid-song. In the background, colorful houses with flower beds, a blue bike leaning against a fence, and tall leafy trees.

They walked down the sidewalk together. Aisha saw so many things! A red mailbox. A blue bike. A fluffy white dog. She made up a little song for each one. "Red mailbox, standing tall. Blue bike, don't you fall!" her grandma laughed. "You are quite the songwriter!"

Aisha and her grandma standing at the edge of a cheerful crosswalk with bold yellow stripes, Aisha looking up at her grandma with an excited expression. In the background, a quiet street with colorful houses and a corner store with a jingling bell on its door.

Soon they came to the crosswalk. It had bold yellow stripes painted on the street. "We have to stop here," said her grandma. "We need to look both ways before we cross." Aisha's eyes got big. "I can make a song about that!" she said.

Aisha singing joyfully while turning her head to the left on the bold yellow-striped crosswalk, holding her grandma's hand tightly as they begin to cross the street together. In the background, a clear and quiet street with blooming flower beds and colorful houses on both sides.

Aisha sang her brand-new song: "Look to the left! Look to the right! Make sure no cars are in sight! Hold a grown-up's hand so tight, then cross the street—you're doing it right!" Her grandma clapped. They looked left. They looked right. No cars! They walked across together, safe and sound.

Aisha and her grandma walking past the friendly corner store, Aisha skipping close to her grandma's side while looking at the jingling bell on the store's open door. In the background, a bustling sidewalk with colorful awnings, flower beds, and other shopfronts.

They passed the friendly corner store. A little bell jingled on the door. Ding-a-ling! "Stay close to me in busy places," said her grandma. Aisha nodded and added a new verse: "Stay close, stay near, keep your grown-up here! In a busy spot, don't disappear!"

Aisha and her grandma arriving at the entrance of the bustling little park, Aisha pointing excitedly toward the wooden playground with its slide and swings, her face full of joy. In the background, kids playing on the wooden playground surrounded by tall leafy trees and green grass.

At last, they reached the park! Aisha could see the wooden playground with its big slide and swings. Kids were running and laughing. "Remember the playground rules," said her grandma. "Wait your turn and hold on tight." Aisha grinned. She had another verse ready!

Aisha sliding down the big slide on the wooden playground with her arms up and a huge grin, her grandma watching proudly from nearby. In the background, the park with swings, tall leafy trees, and blooming flower beds.

"Wait your turn, don't push or shove. Slide down the slide with a great big WHEE! Hold on tight and play with love. The playground is fun for you and me!" Aisha sang as she climbed up the steps. She waited her turn. Then—WHEE!—down the slide she went!

Aisha frozen mid-step on a park path, one foot forward, eyes wide with surprise as she catches herself about to run, her friend visible waving in the distance across the park. In the background, the bustling park with the wooden playground, tall leafy trees, and other children playing.

Then Aisha saw her friend across the park! Her friend waved and called out, "Aisha! Come play!" Aisha got so excited that she almost ran right across the path without looking. Her feet started to go—but then she stopped.

Aisha standing still and looking carefully to her left on the park path, a boy on a bike zooming past in front of her, her grandma catching up behind her with a proud smile. In the background, the park with green grass, blooming flower beds, and the wooden playground.

Aisha remembered her own song! "Look to the left! Look to the right!" she whispered to herself. She looked left. She looked right. A boy on a bike zoomed past—whoosh! "Wow, that was close," she said. She waited until it was safe. Then she walked to her friend the right way.

Aisha standing in the middle of a small group of children in the park, arms spread wide as she sings her song, her friend and the other kids watching with big smiles and clapping hands. In the background, the wooden playground, tall leafy trees swaying in the breeze, and her grandma sitting on a park bench smiling.

"That was so smart!" said her friend. "How did you remember?" Aisha smiled. "I made up a safety song! Want to hear it?" Her friend clapped. Soon, other kids came over to listen. Aisha sang her whole song from the very beginning—every single verse!

Aisha leading a cheerful group of children all singing together in the sunny park, everyone holding hands or clapping, with her grandma standing beside them beaming with pride. In the background, the wooden playground, colorful houses beyond the park, blooming flower beds, and tall leafy trees under a bright blue sky.

All the kids sang along! "Look to the left! Look to the right! Stay close, stay near! Wait your turn!" Their voices filled the park like music. Aisha's grandma smiled. "You made being safe into something fun," she said. And Aisha knew that her best song ever was the one that kept everyone safe.
