Hana dancing joyfully with arms outstretched in the bright kitchen, her feet mid-twirl on the colorful tile floor, with warm sunlight streaming through the big windows and colorful potted plants on the windowsill. In the background, a cozy kitchen with big sunny windows, colorful potted plants on the windowsill, and a basket of scattered toys near the doorway to the living room.

Hana loved to dance. Every morning, she would spin and twirl across the bright kitchen floor. Her bare feet went tap, tap, tap on the cheerful tiles. The warm sun came through the big windows and made everything glow.

Hana standing still in the kitchen looking uncertain, gazing around the room, while Mama stands nearby smiling warmly and gesturing toward the droopy potted plants on the windowsill. In the background, the sunny kitchen with droopy colorful potted plants on the windowsill, the empty cat bowl on the floor, and scattered toys visible in the living room.

"Hana," said Mama, "I have some big kid jobs for you today. Do you think you can help me?" Hana stopped dancing. She looked at the droopy plants on the windowsill. She looked at the cat's empty bowl. She looked at her toys scattered all over the floor.

Mama kneeling down to Hana's level in the kitchen, holding Hana's hands gently, both smiling at each other warmly on the cheerful tile floor. In the background, the bright kitchen with sunlight coming through the big windows and the droopy potted plants on the windowsill.

"I don't know, Mama," said Hana. "That is a lot of jobs." Mama knelt down and smiled. "You can do one job at a time," she said. "And you can do them your way." Hana thought about that. Her way? She knew just what to do!

Hana spinning gracefully while holding the green watering can, pouring water into the colorful potted plants on the windowsill, with a big happy smile on her face. In the background, the bright kitchen windows with warm sunlight streaming in and the cheerful tile floor beneath her feet.

First, the plants! Hana picked up the green watering can. It was heavy, but she held on tight. She spun to the left. She spun to the right. Spin, spin, pour! She gave each droopy plant a nice, long drink of water.

Hana standing in the kitchen looking worried, holding the green watering can at her side, staring down at a big puddle of water on the cheerful tile floor. In the background, the colorful potted plants on the windowsill now looking a bit perkier, and the bright sunny windows.

But then — oh no! Hana spun too fast, and water splashed right onto the floor. A big puddle spread across the tiles. "Oh no," whispered Hana. "I made a mess." Her eyes got wide, and her tummy felt funny.

Hana on her knees on the kitchen tile floor, wiping up the puddle with a yellow towel, looking determined and proud, with the green watering can set down beside her. In the background, the sunny kitchen with the big windows and the colorful potted plants on the windowsill looking healthier.

Hana took a deep breath. She put down the watering can and grabbed a towel. Wipe, wipe, wipe! She cleaned up every drop all by herself. "I did it!" said Hana. She felt brave and strong. Messes can be fixed!

Hana bending down and scooping food into the cat bowl on the kitchen floor while the cat trots toward her eagerly with its tail up, both looking happy. In the background, the bright cozy kitchen with warm light from the big windows and the colorful potted plants on the windowsill standing taller now.

Next, the cat! Hana twirled over to the cat bowl. She scooped food into it — scoop, scoop, scoop! The cat came running with a happy little meow. "Here you go!" said Hana. "Time to eat!"

Hana standing in the kitchen smiling and giggling as the cat rubs affectionately against her leg, purring happily, with the cat bowl on the floor nearby. In the background, the warm sunny kitchen with big windows and the colorful potted plants on the windowsill looking healthy and perky.

The cat crunched and munched. Then it rubbed its soft head against Hana's leg. Purr, purr, purr. "You are welcome, kitty," giggled Hana. Taking care of someone felt really, really good.

Hana standing at the edge of the living room looking at a big mess of scattered toys on the floor — blocks, a doll, crayons, and a bouncy ball — with her hands on her hips, thinking. In the background, the sunny living room with big windows, warm light spilling in, and the toy basket sitting empty nearby.

Now for the last big kid job — the toys! Hana looked at all the toys on the living room floor. There were blocks, a doll, some crayons, and a bouncy ball. "That is a lot of toys," she said. But she had an idea.

Hana mid-hop in the living room, holding the bouncy ball in one hand and dropping it into the toy basket, which is now nearly full with blocks, a doll, and crayons, looking excited and proud. In the background, the bright living room with big sunny windows and warm light on the floor, now clean and tidy.

Hana made a game! She hopped like a bunny to each toy. Hop, hop, pick up! Hop, hop, drop in the basket! One by one, the toys went in. The blocks, the doll, the crayons, and the bouncy ball. "All done!" she cheered.

Mama hugging Hana tightly in the living room, both smiling with joy, while the cat lounges contentedly in a sunny spot on the floor nearby and the full toy basket sits neatly beside them. In the background, the bright living room and kitchen visible with the tall healthy colorful potted plants on the windowsill, big sunny windows, and warm golden light filling the room.

Mama walked in and looked around. The plants stood tall and green. The cat purred in a sunny spot. The toys were neat in their basket. "Hana!" said Mama. "You did all your big kid jobs!" She gave Hana a big, warm hug. "I am so proud of you."

Hana doing her most joyful, exuberant dance in the middle of the bright kitchen, arms wide, mid-spin with a huge smile, her whole body full of energy and pride, on the cheerful tile floor. In the background, the cozy kitchen glowing with warm sunlight through the big windows, the tall healthy colorful potted plants on the windowsill, and the cat watching happily from the doorway.

Hana smiled the biggest smile. She felt big. She felt brave. She learned that taking care of little things can make you feel wonderful inside. And then? Hana danced her very best kitchen dance yet! Spin, twirl, tap, tap, tap! What a great day.
