Hana is twirling joyfully in the middle of a bright kitchen with black-and-white checkered floors, her arms outstretched and a big smile on her face. Sunlight streams through the windows. In the background, sunny windows, colorful jars on shelves, and wooden cupboards line the kitchen walls.

Hana loved to dance in her bright, cozy kitchen. Every morning, she twirled across the checkered floor and hummed a happy tune. The sunny windows let in warm light, and everything felt just right.

Hana stands still in the kitchen, eyes wide with surprise, staring at a row of wooden cupboards whose doors are rattling and shaking, with little puffs of dust bouncing off the hinges. In the background, the checkered kitchen floor stretches out and colorful jars wobble on the shelves.

Hana spun and spun. She hummed louder and louder. Then — BUMP! CLATTER! CRASH! Something was moving inside the cupboards! Hana stopped and looked. The cupboard doors were shaking!

Cat, Bat, and Hat are tumbling out of an open wooden cupboard onto the checkered kitchen floor, landing in a playful pile, while Hana kneels down nearby with a delighted grin. In the background, the sunny kitchen windows glow and more cupboard doors remain closed.

POP! Out tumbled three silly friends — Cat, Bat, and Hat! Cat was a round orange tabby. Bat had tiny purple wings. And Hat was a tall, stripy top hat with little legs. "Hello!" said Cat. "Your dancing woke us up!"

Hana is clapping her hands while Cat, Bat, and Hat stand in a row on the kitchen countertop, each striking a proud pose. Cat holds up one paw, Bat spreads tiny purple wings, and Hat tips forward on little legs. In the background, colorful jars and a bowl of fruit sit on the counter near the sunny window.

"Who are you?" asked Hana. "We are the -at family!" said Bat. "Listen — Cat, Bat, Hat! Our names all sound the same at the end!" Hana clapped her hands. "They do! They all end in -at!" "Yes!" cheered Hat. "That means we rhyme!"

Hana dances on the checkered floor alongside Cat, Bat, and Hat, all four of them stomping and clapping in a joyful circle, mouths open as if singing. In the background, the bright kitchen shelves and sunny windows frame the happy scene.

Hana and the -at family clapped and sang together. "Cat! Bat! Hat! We love to rhyme like that!" They stomped on the checkered floor. They wiggled and giggled. Rhyming was so much fun!

Dog, Frog, and Log come tumbling out of a different cupboard, rolling onto the checkered floor. Dog lands on all fours, Frog bounces up high, and Log rolls to a stop with a big grin. Hana watches them with her mouth open in surprise, while Cat, Bat, and Hat look on from the countertop. In the background, cupboard doors swing wide open and colorful jars rattle on the shelves.

But then — BANG! RATTLE! WHOOSH! More cupboard doors flew open! Out rolled Dog, Frog, and Log! Dog was a floppy brown pup. Frog was bright green and bouncy. And Log was a short, round log with a big grin. "Did someone say rhyme?" barked Dog. "We rhyme too! Dog, Frog, Log! We are the -og family!"

Hen, Pen, and Ben hop out of yet another cupboard, landing on the kitchen counter. Hen flaps fluffy red wings, Pen stands tall in blue sneakers, and Ben the gingerbread boy waves cheerfully. Hana stands in the center of the kitchen surrounded by all nine word-family characters. In the background, every cupboard door is flung open and the sunny kitchen glows warmly.

And then — POP! POP! POP! Out hopped Hen, Pen, and Ben! Hen was a fluffy red hen. Pen was a tall blue pen with sneakers. And Ben was a smiling gingerbread boy. "Don't forget us!" clucked Hen. "Hen, Pen, Ben — we are the -en family! We rhyme too!"

All nine word-family characters are scattered across the kitchen — on the countertop, on shelves, and on the floor — mouths open, all singing at once. Hana stands in the middle covering her ears with her hands, laughing but overwhelmed. Colorful sound lines radiate from every character. In the background, jars vibrate on shelves and the sunny windows rattle from all the noise.

Now the kitchen was LOUD! "Cat! Bat! Hat!" sang the -at family. "Dog! Frog! Log!" barked the -og family. "Hen! Pen! Ben!" clucked the -en family. Everyone was rhyming at the same time! It was a noisy, jumbled mess. No one could hear!

Hana stands tall in the center of the kitchen with both hands raised, smiling confidently. All nine word-family characters — Cat, Bat, Hat, Dog, Frog, Log, Hen, Pen, and Ben — are gathered around her on the checkered floor, looking up at her with eager, attentive faces. In the background, the bright kitchen with its sunny windows and open cupboards frames the group.

"Wait! Wait!" called Hana. She held up her hands. "I have an idea! You can take turns! Each family can dance and sing their rhymes, and the others will cheer!" The word families looked at each other. "Okay!" they all said.

Dog, Frog, and Log are dancing in the center of the checkered kitchen floor — Dog hopping on hind legs, Frog leaping high, and Log spinning. Off to one side, Hana, Cat, Bat, and Hat clap and cheer. Hen, Pen, and Ben wait on the counter, clapping along. In the background, the sunny kitchen windows cast a golden glow over the lively scene.

The -at family went first. Cat, Bat, and Hat danced across the floor. "Cat! Bat! Hat! We rhyme like that!" they sang. Everyone clapped and cheered! Then the -og family took a turn. Dog, Frog, and Log hopped and stomped. "Dog! Frog! Log! We dance on every cog!" Everyone cheered again!

Hen, Pen, and Ben perform in the center of the kitchen floor — Hen flapping red wings, Pen tapping blue sneakers, and Ben the gingerbread boy twirling. Hana cheers from the side, clapping enthusiastically, while Cat, Bat, Hat, Dog, Frog, and Log cheer from the counter and shelves. In the background, the open cupboards and bright sunny windows fill the kitchen with warm light.

Then it was the -en family's turn! Hen, Pen, and Ben twirled and tapped. "Hen! Pen! Ben! Let's rhyme again and again!" they sang. Hana clapped the loudest. "You all sound wonderful when you take turns!" she said. "Now let's ALL dance together!"

Hana leads a joyful parade across the checkered kitchen floor, arms wide and spinning. Behind her, all nine word-family characters — Cat, Bat, Hat, Dog, Frog, Log, Hen, Pen, and Ben — dance in a colorful conga line, each one bouncing and smiling. Tiny sparkles and musical notes float in the air around them. In the background, the bright kitchen with sunny windows, open cupboards, and colorful jars on shelves fills the scene with warmth and magic.

And so they did! All three word families and Hana danced together across the checkered floor. "Cat! Bat! Hat! Dog! Frog! Log! Hen! Pen! Ben!" they sang in one big, joyful rhyming parade. Hana laughed and twirled. Rhyming words were everywhere — and the kitchen had never been so much fun!
