Hana stands on the bright, breezy hillside trail at the start of the winding dirt path, wearing her hiking boots and smiling wide with her arms stretched out, ready to go. Wildflowers sway around her feet. In the background, a wide blue sky with puffy white clouds stretches over soft green rolling hills and friendly trees.

Hana loved to dance. She danced in the kitchen. She danced in the hall. She danced and danced and danced! Today, Hana laced up her boots. She was going on a hike!

Hana stands face-to-face with the Letter H on the winding dirt path, both looking excited. The Letter H bounces slightly off the ground. Hana waves with a big smile. In the background, the winding dirt path curves up the green hillside past friendly trees.

At the start of the trail, someone was waiting. It was the letter H! H was big and bouncy and bright red. "Hi, Hana!" said H. "Hi, H!" said Hana. "Let's hike!"

Hana and the Letter H walk side by side up the winding dirt path, with soft green grass all around them. Hana's hair blows gently in the breeze. The Letter H hops along happily. In the background, wildflowers sway in the wind under the wide blue sky.

Hana and the Letter H walked up the path. The breeze blew soft and cool. The grass tickled their toes. "What will we find?" asked Hana. "H things!" said the Letter H. "H-h-h!"

Hana and the Letter H stand beside a green bush with the Purple Hat sitting right on top of it. Hana points at the hat with delight. The Letter H bounces with joy. In the background, the sunny hillside trail continues past big sunny rocks.

They walked past a bush. And what was on the bush? A hat! A big, floppy, purple hat. "Hat starts with H!" said Hana. "H-h-h! Hat!" they laughed together.

Hana and the Letter H stand on the trail looking up at the sky, where the Heart Cloud floats among other puffy white clouds. Hana holds one hand over her own heart. The Letter H tilts upward, gazing at the sky. In the background, the wide blue sky is full of puffy white clouds and bright sunshine.

They walked a little more. Hana looked up at the sky. A puffy white cloud was shaped like a heart! "Heart starts with H!" said Hana. "H-h-h! Heart!" they laughed together.

Hana and the Letter H peek around a big sunny rock to see the Hippo splashing happily in the sparkling pond. Water droplets fly up around the Hippo. Hana's eyes are wide with surprise and delight. In the background, friendly trees line the edge of the sparkling pond under the blue sky.

Splish! Splash! What was that sound? They peeked around a big sunny rock. A silly hippo was splashing in the sparkling pond! Water flew everywhere!

Hana and the Letter H stand at the edge of the sparkling pond, laughing with the Hippo who is blowing a big bubble from the water. All three look joyful. Hana claps her hands. In the background, green hillside and wildflowers surround the sparkling pond.

"Hippo starts with H!" said Hana. The hippo blew a big bubble. POP! "H-h-h! Hippo!" they all laughed together. The water smelled fresh like rain.

Hana stands on the winding dirt path reaching up with both arms as the Letter H tumbles and spins high into the breezy sky above her. Her hair and clothes blow in the strong wind. Wildflowers bend sideways. In the background, puffy white clouds race across the wide blue sky.

Then — WHOOSH! A big gust of wind came. It blew and blew. It picked up the Letter H and carried it away! Up, up, up into the sky! "Oh no!" said Hana. "Come back, H!"

Hana stands on the trail clapping her hands with her mouth open in a hum, looking up as the Letter H wiggles and floats back down toward her from the sky. A joyful expression lights up Hana's face. In the background, the breezy hillside stretches out with friendly trees and puffy white clouds.

Hana knew what to do. She clapped her hands. CLAP, CLAP, CLAP! She hummed a happy song. "Hmmmmm!" Can you hum too? The Letter H heard her! It wiggled. It jiggled. It floated back down!

Hana wraps her arms around the Letter H in a big warm hug on the winding dirt path. Both have their eyes closed with happy smiles. Wildflowers bloom at their feet. In the background, the trail leads up toward the top of the green hill under the wide blue sky.

"You came back!" said Hana. She hugged the Letter H tight. It felt warm and smooth. "Hug starts with H too!" said the Letter H. "H-h-h! Hug!" they laughed together.

Hana and the Letter H stand together at the very top of the green hill, looking out over the whole beautiful view. Hana has her arms spread wide and a peaceful, happy smile. The Letter H glows warmly beside her. In the background, the sparkling pond, friendly trees, wildflowers, and big sunny rocks spread out below under the wide blue sky with puffy white clouds.

They climbed to the tip-top of the hill. They could see everything! The pond, the trees, the flowers. Hana took a deep, cozy breath. "Ahhhh," she sighed. "H is for HAPPY!"

Hana and the Letter H dance joyfully together down the winding dirt path on the green hillside, arms out and spinning with glee. Wildflowers sway around them as they move. In the background, the sun begins to set in warm golden light over the friendly trees and rolling green hills.

And then — they danced! Hana and the Letter H danced all the way down the hill. They danced past the pond. They danced past the bush. They danced all the way home. H is for hike. H is for heart. H is for hippo and hat. But best of all? H is for HAPPY!
