Priya stands in her bright, sunny backyard with her hands on her hips, looking curious and excited. She is surrounded by colorful flowers — red, yellow, purple, and pink — and bouncy spotted mushrooms. Little sparkles float in the air around her like tiny bubbles. Priya loved puzzles. Big puzzles. Small puzzles. Puzzles with shapes. Puzzles with colors. She could solve them all! But today, Priya found something new in her sunny backyard.

Priya stands in the green grass, tilting her head to one side with one hand cupped behind her ear, listening carefully. Little sparkles swirl around her in spirals, glowing brighter than before. In the background, the colorful flowers lean slightly toward Priya as if they are also listening, and the big golden smiley-face sun watches from above.

It was not a puzzle she could touch. It was not a puzzle she could see. It was a puzzle she could HEAR! A tiny, tingly sound floated through the air. What could it be?

Priya stands with her arms wide open, mouth open in a big joyful sing, facing a tall red flower that is wiggling and dancing on its stem. Priya jumps in the air mid-song with her arms raised high. The red flower wiggles, the yellow flower bounces, and a purple flower spins in a circle. Nearby, the bouncy spotted mushrooms wobble side to side, and a small puddle splashes up droplets around Priya's feet. In the background, the big golden smiley-face sun grins even wider, and little sparkles fill the air like floating bubbles.

Priya sang louder. "Zing, Zap, ZOOM!" A purple flower spun around and around like a top! The bouncy mushrooms started to wiggle too. The puddles went SPLISH, SPLISH, SPLISH! "Zing, Zap, Zoom! Zing, Zap, Zoom!" sang Priya.

Priya stomps one foot on the soft green grass with both fists pumped in the air, singing with all her might. The red flower wiggles, the yellow flower bounces, the purple flower spins, and all the bouncy spotted mushrooms hop off the ground. The friendly rainbow in the sky bends and wiggles to the beat. In the background, the big golden smiley-face sun beams with delight, and sparkles swirl everywhere like a glittery storm.

Priya took a big, deep breath. "Zing, Zap, Zoom, BOOM!" The whole backyard shook with joy! The grass tickled her toes. The rainbow wiggled in the sky. Everything was dancing! "Zing, Zap, Zoom, BOOM!" sang Priya, louder and sillier than ever.

Priya stands still with a puzzled look on her face, one finger on her chin, mouth slightly open. The red flower, yellow flower, and purple flower all droop slightly, frozen mid-dance. The bouncy spotted mushrooms are still. The friendly rainbow hangs flat and still in the sky. In the background, the big golden smiley-face sun looks surprised with wide eyes, and the sparkles in the air have dimmed and float slowly downward.

But then... Priya stopped. "Zing, Zap, Zoom, Boom... um..." What came next? She forgot the next sound! The flowers stopped dancing. The mushrooms stopped wiggling. The rainbow stopped too. Everything was quiet.

Priya faces forward toward the reader with both hands outstretched, palms up, as if asking for help. She has a hopeful, warm smile on her face. The red flower, yellow flower, and purple flower lean in toward her from behind, as if also looking at the reader. In the background, the friendly rainbow and the big golden smiley-face sun peek down curiously from above.

Priya looked around. She looked at the flowers. She looked at the mushrooms. She looked at YOU! "Can you help me?" asked Priya. "Do you remember the song? Let's sing it together!"

Priya marches forward with one arm swinging high, singing with a huge grin. The red flower wiggles behind her, the yellow flower bounces beside her, and the purple flower spins nearby. Little sparkles burst back to life all around them, bright and glowing. In the background, the bouncy spotted mushrooms begin to wobble again, and the big golden smiley-face sun is smiling wide.

Ready? Here we go! "ZING!" The red flower danced again! "Zing, ZAP!" The yellow flower bounced back! "Zing, Zap, ZOOM!" The purple flower spun! Can you say it with Priya?

Priya leaps joyfully with both feet off the ground, arms stretched wide. Puddles splash around her. The bouncy spotted mushrooms spring high into the air. The friendly rainbow wiggles and curves across the sky with little laugh lines drawn near it. All three dancing flowers — red, yellow, and purple — sway wildly. In the background, the big golden smiley-face sun laughs along, and sparkles explode across the scene like tiny bubbles popping with light.

"Zing, Zap, Zoom, BOOM!" Priya and her friends sang it so loud! The puddles went SPLISH! The mushrooms went BOING! And suddenly — the rainbow GIGGLED! It laughed and laughed and wiggled across the whole sky!

Priya laughed too. She sang the whole silly song one more time. "Zing, Zap, Zoom, BOOM!" The backyard danced. The sky danced. Even the sparkles danced! It was the best song in the whole wide world.
