Amara stands on a winding dirt path at the bottom of rolling green hills, her hair and dress blowing in the wind. She is clapping her hands and smiling up at the sky. In the background, rolling green hills stretch under a bright blue sky full of fast-moving puffy white clouds.

It was a windy day! The clouds went whoooosh across the sky. Amara clapped her hands. "What a good day for a walk!" she said.

Amara stands next to W on the winding dirt path. W is smiling and wearing the red hat. Amara reaches up to hold one of W's pointy tips like a hand. In the background, the winding path curves away through rolling green hills dotted with colorful windmills.

Amara's best friend was waiting by the path. It was W! W was big and wobbly and wore a little red hat. "Ready to walk?" asked W. "W-w-w-wonderful!" said Amara. And off they went!

Amara and W walk together along the winding dirt path, leaning into the breeze. Amara's hair flies sideways and W's red hat tips to one side. In the background, tall green grass on the rolling hills bends in the wind under whooshing streaky clouds.

The wind blew and blew. Whooooosh! Amara's hair went wiggly. W's red hat went wobbly. "W-w-w-wind!" they said together. Can you say it? W-w-w-wind!

Amara and W stand at the edge of the path, looking at the whale sitting happily in a large shiny puddle. The whale waves one flipper at them with a big smile. In the background, more rolling green hills with other puddles glimmering in the sunlight.

They walked around a bend. Splish! Splash! A big, friendly whale sat in a puddle. The whale wiggled and waved a flipper. "W-w-w-whale!" whispered Amara. The whale smiled a wet, squishy smile.

Amara bends down and wiggles her whole body, giggling, while W leans over to look at the worm poking out of a patch of soft brown dirt beside the path. The worm is long, pink, and curly. In the background, green hills and a colorful windmill spinning in the breeze.

They walked a little more. Squish! Squish! A wiggly worm poked out of the soft, warm dirt. The worm wiggled left. The worm wiggled right. "W-w-w-worm!" said Amara. She wiggled too! Can you wiggle?

Amara stands in front of the big colorful windmill with her arms stretched out, spinning them in circles. W stands beside her, bouncing happily. The windmill's bright red, yellow, blue, and green arms spin above them. In the background, rolling green hills and a bright blue windy sky with streaky clouds.

Around the next bend — creeeak, creeeak! A big, colorful windmill was spinning round and round. Its arms went whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! "W-w-w-windmill!" said Amara. She spun her arms too!

Amara holds up her fingers, counting, while W puffs up proudly beside her on the winding path. Both are smiling. In the background, a panorama of green hills with puddles, a windmill, and whooshing clouds.

"So many W words!" said Amara. "Wind, whale, worm, windmill!" She whispered each one. "W-w-w-w." W wiggled proudly. Every word started with W!

Amara and W stand on the path looking up in alarm. W's red hat is flying high above them, tumbling through the air. Amara reaches up toward it. W looks worried. In the background, clouds race across the sky and the green hills' grass flattens in the strong gust.

But then — WHOOOOSH! A wild, wild gust of wind came! It blew and blew and blew! W's little red hat flew off — up, up, up into the sky! "Oh no!" cried Amara. "W's hat!"

Amara runs along the path, pointing at the red hat flying ahead. Behind her, W hurries along. The whale splashes in its puddle, the worm stretches tall out of the dirt, and the colorful windmill spins rapidly — all watching the hat. In the background, the red hat tumbles over the crest of a green hill under a windy sky.

The hat tumbled over the hills. "Help!" called Amara. Splish! The friendly whale flapped its flippers. Squish! The wiggly worm wiggled fast. Creeeak! The windmill spun and spun. All the W friends wanted to help!

The whale shoots a spout of water from its puddle into the air, and the worm stretches up tall from the dirt, catching the red hat on its head. Amara jumps with joy nearby, and W bounces excitedly beside her. In the background, the colorful windmill spins on a green hill under clearing skies.

The whale blew a big spout of water — whoooosh! Up went the water! It pushed the hat down, down, down. The worm wiggled up high and caught it! "We did it!" cheered Amara. "W-w-w-wow!"

Amara gently places the red hat back on top of W with both hands, smiling tenderly. W beams with happiness. The whale, the worm, and the colorful windmill are all nearby. In the background, the rolling green hills glow golden in warm afternoon sunlight.

Amara put the little red hat back on W's head. Pat, pat, pat. "There you go," she said softly. W wiggled with joy. The hat was warm from the sun. It smelled like wind and grass.

Amara hugs W on the winding path, eyes closed and smiling peacefully. The whale waves a flipper from its puddle, the worm waves from the dirt, and the colorful windmill turns gently in the soft breeze. In the background, the sun is low and golden over the green hills, with soft pink and orange clouds in the sky.

Amara waved to the whale. She waved to the worm. She waved to the windmill. Then she hugged W tight. "What a w-w-wonderful day!" she whispered. And the wind whispered back… w-w-w-w-w.
